Bill Simon, a former IRS executive has more than 30 years experience in tax administration, public accounting and business management. He is presently President of W. H. Simon & Company, P.A., a public accounting firm concentrating in tax controversy matters before the Internal Revenue Service.

Prior to forming W. H. Simon & Company, P.A., he was a tax partner and Director of the Tax Department in an international accounting firm. In this position he was responsible for client handling including planning and compliance of all types of tax matters, as well as management of the Tax Department of approximately 20 people. Prior to joining the international accounting firm, his previous experience included 15 years with the Internal Revenue Service. His most recent position with the IRS was Assistant Regional Commissioner of Examination responsible for all examination activity in seven states.

Bill brings a dimension to his profession which is truly unique. He provides clients with an inside view of the IRS from a technical, as well as a procedural standpoint, and is able to assist clients in making decisions on tax matters. Since forming W. H. Simon & Company, P.A., he continues to aggressively represent clients throughout the country in the areas of Examination, Collection and Criminal Investigation Divisions of the IRS, as well as other state and federal taxing authorities.

Eric has over 15 years of experience in the area of Federal Taxation. Upon completion of his Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Finance at Florida State University he joined the Internal Revenue Service as an Internal Revenue Agent.

His experience with IRS includes the examination of income and employment tax returns for all types of entities including partnerships, corporations, trusts and individual taxpayers. During his career with IRS, Eric assisted the Criminal Investigation Division conducting criminal investigations on various taxpayers. Eric, having completed all of the training courses provided internally for Revenue Agents, was also involved in conducting training classes for other IRS employees. He has participated extensively in speaking engagements to community and civic organizations as well as professional organizations throughout the Bay Area. Eric is an active member of the AICPA and FICPA.

Since joining W. H. Simon & Company, P.A., Eric has been heavily involved in representing clients before the Examination, Appeals, Collection and Criminal Investigation Divisions of IRS.
